How Far Is The West Rim Of The Grand Canyon To Sedona In Arizona?

Answer Question

There are a lot of places along the south and west rims.  Hard to give a quality answer without more speciifc info on destination.  Plus, there isn't exactly a West rim.  The canyon runs East-West, so it just opens out to the west (it doesn't have the dramatic rims directly East and West the way it does to the South and North.

You might want to use Googlemaps to look at the routes and roads for yourself.

From Sedona to the main visitor centre on the south rim is 2.5 hours drive (about 115 miles, 185 km).

There are many minor roads snaking around the canyon.  Travel on these roads is much slower than on the main routes -- the roads are relatively narrow and twisty, not necessarily that well-paved, even.

Still, I would have thought, depending on where you want to go and the route, you could get expect 3-4.5 hours of driving to get from Sedona to wherever you think the 'West' rim of the canyon is.
