My cat is 11 years old. She go a clean bill of health as of July '08, but she has lost interest in her food and is losing weight. She was 14.4 pounds ad now weighs 7 pounds. What could this be?

A sudden loss of appetite could be caused by roundworms (a spaghetti-length worm found in fecal matter) or it could be a sign of illness, like anorexia
