What Are Some Of The Different Transportation System In Thailand?

    Thailand poses some of the most unique Transportation system in the world, with Thais opting for the easiest way to go around. The Thai Airways provides most of the countries international Travel to its citizen. However other airlines such as Bangkok Airways and Phuket Airline does have some limited services.

    Apart from Air, if you wish to travel within Thailand. Long route Trains can be taken which have an above average service and not the most preferred ones.  At most times, long route buses are used for travelling within the boundaries of Thailand, though it takes much longer but the services are excellent to make your journey as comfortable as possible.

    Next in line come the vans which are used for traveling from one province to another. They are used for traveling within 2-3 hours of the distance and are preferred for nearby provinces.

    Bangkok, being the capital city is also the most populous city and has the variety of Transportation systems. To go around Bangkok, the Thais have the luxury of using boats, buses, BTS, MRT taxis, Tuk Tuks, motor cycles and Song Thai-os.

    Boats are limited to some parts of Bangkok; however they are quick and can take you from one place to another place within 10 minutes. BTS and MRT system are train systems which cover only some parts Bangkok. Taxis are allowed every where and are a comfortable way of Transportation. Tuk Tuk are limited for only tourist attraction and are used in the city center only.   Motor cycles and Song-Thai-os are used for short distances and are usually used on small streets to connect to main roads.

    All these transportation systems make transportation a unique experience.
