Like Cmarx said, there are tons of different loan lenders out there and several different websites that offer deferment (definition of that can be found here: www.tuitionbids.com ). You should definitely make sure that you're comparing rates and options.
Government loans (for the US) can be deferred and you can apply online for that. However, not all private lenders offer deferment.
I represent www.TuitionBids.com , which is a site that lets you compare offers from up to six different lenders.
You want to make sure you're making the right loan choice for you now and one that you can live with in the future, so definitely compare rates if nothing else- that way you know you're making the most informed decision.

I don't know the site, but you can google it probably and find one, but loans like that are called Stafford loans. Try that....good luck to you!
