What Is The Debut Work Of Stephen King?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Stephen writes short stories and novels as well, so we can say that he has two kinds of debuts to his credit. As a short story he made his debut with 'In a Half-World of Terror' and as a novel his debut work is 'Carrie'. If you describe 'Carrie', his debut novel, you will find it to be a novel that has raw power in it and considered as the novel with a lot of horrifying details. One of the distinctions of this book is that it is among the book that has faced a good number of bans in the schools of US and even the film version of it is being banned in one of the countries; it is banned in Finland.

But when it comes to the fans of the novel, they find it to be an emotionally touching story that deals with the phenomenon of bullying in high schools. And its roaring success is corroborating the popularity of the book.
