    The arguments which are passed to main is called command line arguments

      When running a program from the command line (on Windows, inside the Command Prompt), command line arguments are extra options that you type after the name of the program to run.

      For example, you can run the command dir *.txt where dir is the program and *.txt is a command line argument.
