Spurn is the name of a narrow sand spit. A spit is nothing but a land form produced by deposition. They are found along the coasts. Spurn is also located on the tip of the coast in Yorkshire of England. It goes into the North Sea and s the northern bank of Humber estuary. The length of the Spurn spit is over 5 km and has a width of 45 metres. The southernmost point of this spit is named as the Spurn Head or Spurn Point.
