Can I force my landlady to make repairs she before paying my rent?
 Depends on which state you live in.you can have rent money saved in your bank account,and tell her you have her money,but she's not getting it until she fixes the things that you need done.only applies in some states. |

You have to have your money in the bank to show the court that you are in compliance with your lease. They will order the landlady to make repairs or if they don't then the money comes back to you and you move out.

Check with a lawyer that does free cousiltations and ask because it really depends on the state you reside in |

When you are about to move in to your rented residence, you agree upon certain things. If you have signed an agreement and mentioned your terms and conditions like repair and about rent then the landlady is bound to fulfill all. If you have not signed an agreement then your landlady is not bound to repair anything. If she has said you something verbally then it's up to her goodness that she will do it or not. |
