Well, it might be, there are times that are stated that you have to call them by, to ensure that you get your next check. If you aren't sure, then I would call or go and see them to find out about it. Hope this helps, good luck.

 My husband is on unemployment. Right now(in ca). It took him three weeks to receive the first check. It probably still is in progress or if you received a letter that approved it. The letter will say you were AWARDED the unemployment. If you received this letter than your check should coming, but it is a long process. Like i said the first check takes three weeks then after that each check will come every two weeks.   :)
