Can Only Move Files On Desktop In Rows?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

If you are wanting to disable it automatically setting up your icons then its a simple fix.  I'm using Windows XP so if your using Vista things might be a little different.  Right click anywhere on your desktop.  This will bring up a menu, move your mouse of Arrange Icons By.  Now you have more options on how you would like to arrange your icons on the desktop.  Auto Arrange will put all your icons to the side of your screen by default.  I have that disabled and just Align to Grid checked so that icons will not overlap each other.  You can play with this a bit to get your desired result as needed.

    Hope this helps.
