Whenever a new pet comes, I wait for a couple of days and interact with it. It will usually make it's name apparent. My dog has a brindle spot on her head- her name is 'splotch'. The sister to her had a dot right in the middle of her head, her name was 'doink'. The father to the two of em was named 'idgit'. My boy friend's dog was ' cleatus forward'. You will notice some trait that the kitten has- and "ding!" the name will be there and nothing else would fit....

You've probably already got a purr-fect name for her, but we find names in on-line dictionaries ... We go to the international section and put in a descriptive word. For example, we found a kitten after a snowstorm and named her Pirta, which is one of the Alaskan words for blizzard.
