How Do I Keep Them Happy?

Hi. We have a bird feeder outside our backdoor where we feed a couple of doves. Now, we have a couple of crimson Rosellas joining in there but they argue over the container. How do i keep them both happy without losing either of them?

Doves are quite amazing, consider getting another container and see if this could make a difference to avoid any conflicts and keep them happy. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Thank you, atreqinah. I had thought of that and will probably do so but i am wondering if they aren't already attached to this particular feeding bowl.

I would suggest getting more feeders because it sounds like the doves are becoming territorial over what they think are 'their' feeders, so when new birds come in they will respond by attacking or chasing off them. But when putting the new feeders, a ways apart so that the doves don't take 'control' over them too

The doves and the Rosellas are now getting along now we have three feeders. It is amazing how they are happy to eat together with more feeders.

Thank You. I actually discovered today that they do indeed enjoy that. In fact, while the crimson Rosellas were feeding in the basket, the doves were down below picking up seeds they were throwing out. It looked like the Rossies were doing it deliberately. What do you say?
