How Much Should You Feed A Staffordshire Bull Terrier?

Answer Question

4 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

How much you should feed a Staffordshire bull terrier would depend upon many factors including the sex of the dog; the age; the activity level; stress levels; medical history; and other dietary factors. In general it is an undemanding dog when it comes to feeding as it has no special dietary requirements. A Staffordshire bull terrier usually has a good appetite.

At the end of the day you know you are feeding him right if he is in good condition. For instance note if his coat shines, are his motions are firm and if his eyes look bright.

An adult Staffordshire bull terrier would require a basic diet of meat and biscuit. This meat can either be raw or cooked. Some dogs will thrive on fresh food while other on canned food. While tripe is a favourite with a lot of dog breeders, it is not recommended to feed it to any animal that is less than six months of age.

I have a staff who is 4 months he is one of the nicest puppy and he won some competitions already as he has more muscles than staffs at older age.Because for a dog to have a nice coat he must have 2 raw eggs twice a week and also I mix pedigree with caned tuna or salmon as it has the oils it needs for his coat and it helps build muscles.
