What Are Major Differences Between The AC Motor And DC Motor ?

AC motor is the Alternating current motor and DC motor is the Direct current motor. The difference between the two is that the machine which converts alternating-current electrical energy into mechanical energy by the current flow through conductors is known as AC motor while a motor which converts the electrical energy to mechanical energy by direct current is the direct motor. Alternating current is the one which changes its position after each cycle while direct current does not change its position.
