A couple of Excedrin and some really passionate sex. The caffeine and adrenaline really gets your mind & body off of it, but then you come down and when you need comforted (not just cuddling) he falls asleep... Sorry.

If you can find it in a drug store, Percogesic. A shot of tequila might help, too. I feel for you. Have had friends to through it. But you are doing a good thing.
