What Website Contains Information For The 1930 UK Census?

Answer Question

The 1931 census won't be released until 100 years after it was taken. UK census returns were taken every 10 years from 1801 onwards. The only year in which a census wasn't taken was 1941 - during WW2.
If you are looking for information on family members from 1931 think abut looking at street directories and electoral rolls for 1931, these might help you find the people you are looking for - provided you know the area they lived in. Local record offices have copies of directories and electoral rolls. There's a 100 year rule at present on UK census information but there are moves to have this reduced to 70 years.
Electoral rolls, and directories are very helpful tools when working out side time scales for census returns.

There wasn't a 1930 census in this country. Though even if there had been then it wouldnt be available until 2030 one hundred years after it was taken

Censuses in Britain are taken every 10 years and the first official census was in 1801
