Does Taking A Xanax Help Pass A Polygraph Test?

Xanax (alprazolam) is a potent anxiolytic benzodiazapam derivative that behaves as a tranquilizer. Polygraphs measure many parameters that this medication does not affect. If you know your answer is a lie, then the test could pick that up.

I doubt it, but you can try. I think that if you know you are lying, the test can detect it. I have heard of some pathological lyers who pass the test because they have convinced themselves of the veracity of their statements, or because they do not know the difference between the truth and a lie.

Take Valium (diazepam) Take a little bit too much. But be careful or you won't be able to stay awake

I actually take xanax-& no,it won't help pass.When you lie,it will pick it up! By the way-I'm having my husband take a lie detector test for cheating too-ironic! He can try & take all the xanax he wants but, still won't help him get out of lying.I've been on this site because of my man cheating on me-what's w/ you guy's!????If your not happy-then save her the misery,we're trying counseling & church,I don't understand how you "guy's" can just forget about us(hurting us) & ONLY thinking of your own selfish want's!No way out of this one bud! If you have to take a polygraph test for some reason then go in and take it straight.  Don't try to cheat it by using drugs. If you pass, you pass.  If not, too bad.
