Does MRSA Relapse?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

MRSA or Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus bacteria are completely curable. Their treatment includes first draining of abscess and then use of antibiotics like vancomycin. Once treated, MRSA infection does not relapsed. But if you have any wound, cut, or burn on the skin you can get again this infection because MRSA are usually present on our skin and nasal passage without any harm. These MRSA attack on wounds and cuts. MRSA can also be acquired from other infected persons and hospitals. So to avoid reinfection, cover your wounds.
