Where Did Chocolate Moose Come From?

    Chocolate moose basically was a well known specialty of French restaurant and originated from France. In simple words Mousse is a type of creamy dessert usually prepared from egg and cream, normally in a blend with other flavours like chocolate and fruit. The ingredients are whipped individually and later cautiously folded together to create a light and fluffy yet exceptionally rich confection and is later set aside for refrigeration so that it can preserve its freshness. Generally depending on how it is made, a mousse can vary from light and fluffy to creamy and thick.

    Because of the application of raw eggs, eating mousse might consequent in food poisoning, caused mainly due to salmonella bacteria. Chocolate mousse became quite popular in American and English home cuisines during the 1960s.
