How Long Do U Cook Vegetables For Ie Cabbage Sprouts Turnip Potatoes?

I've been teaching cooking and baking for decades - you cook till they are done.  Period.

It will depend on the veggie, the method of cooking, the amount you are cooking, etc.

For instance, if boiling - place in pan and cover with cold water, place over medium heat and bring water to a boil, continue to boil, and cook until crisp tender ( a bit of a bit yet and not mushy) or until tender - when a fork slides in and out with no resistance; drain well, serve as is or with seasonings, butter sauces, sauce, etc.
