What Type Of Food Do They Eat In Brazil?

Brazilian food mainly has Portuguese, African and Native influence. The Portuguese introduced Brazilians to dried salt cod, Linguica, Spicy meat stews and desserts such as corn and rice pudding. The African people who were brought to Brazil as slaves, introduced okra, dende oil and peppercorns in this region.

The main dish of Brazil is Feijoda Completa, which is made from black beans that have been cooked with smoked meat and sausages and is generally served with rice, diced oranges, boiled greens made from vegetables and chilly sause. It is topped with toasted cassava meal. Common drinks of Brazil are Coffee, rum and beer.

The Brazilian people like to have a simple breakfast which mainly comprises of Coffee, Milk, Bread and Jam. At times they prefer to eat Cheese and Ham for breakfast with some fresh fruits at the side.
