What Kinds Of Animals Are Native In Arizona?

    There are a lot of reptiles.   Snakes, Lizards, Gila Monsters (a large venomous lizard), Horned Toads (a lizard resembling a toad with horny features around its head).
    Quite a few bird species, including cactus wrens, wood peckers, falcons, owls, road runners and quail.
    Several fish species in their lakes including trout, bass, catfish and bluegill
    Coyote, black bears, antelope, elk, bobcats, mountain lions, mule deer (in higher elevations such as Flagstaff),  Ringtail cats (the state mammal, a type of raccoon),

      The coytoe is a native from there and elk
