Chemistry is very important in our society because without the knowledge of chemistry we cannot determine that the food that we are eating is expired,we do not know how to analyze the composition of certain substances,to formulate new products and develop better manufacturing processes.

I dont think to explain the importance of chemistry.if you see around ,you can see the importance of it.For example when we burn some thing carbon dioxide is evolved, these co2 are said to be increasing global warming.why chemistry is important to society? Because now the world is expanding and peoples needs are also increasing.in order to cope with the increasing demand chemistry can do real help.New drugs are coming in market to cure the diseases which are thought to be incurable a 20 years before. These drugs are the result of increased research in chemistry filed(well basically its the product of bio tech ,but bio tech is indirectly linked to chemistry).New model flat television, ipods, every thing that we enjoy is a direct or indirect product of chemistry.
The last thing i want to say is to protect out environment ,i think those who read this will understand the importance of environment first than to chemistry.use chemistry to protect out environment
