Name Brands Or Off Brands- Which Do Yo Prefer?

Name brands for me, sometimes the off brands for savings. Just a stickler for flavor, and quality, I do use sometimes the generic for some canned goods, but I rarely buy canned, always frozen, so with frozen veggies, not a problem, I love the quality there.

It depends some name brand products are just plain better I find especially with soaps, deodorants and similar products. A lot of no-name or generic products otherwise are just as good if not better. Milk or eggs for instance is really hard to find a difference as with meat products. Vegetables are the same and a lot of the cereals but sometimes there is a major difference even between the generic items. It is a shame that one has to experiment and possible waste money on a purchase that is not what one expects. But then again sometime the savings are such that you can buy two for the cost of one name.

Having a name brand ,a good one i mean,makes me feel proud

I like name brands for most foods, but I like Wal-Marts brand butter and frozen vegies. I like Wal-Mart brand trash bags, but I usually buy name brand cleaning supplies. I like cover girl makeup cuz it's cheap and I don't really wear makeup that often. Generic meds all the way! On clothes I buy what I like no matter where it is from, but I don't like the clothing with the name brand written across it they aren't paying me to advertise for them.

For me it depends alot on how much money I have when I go.Name brand clothing some of it I can do without some of it is just not me mainly the new styles maybe I am just too old for it.Meat I usually do not buy from stores my ole man hunts and we have other farmers around that we can get beef and pork from.Veggies I grow in the garden and can them to use in the winter.Meds if they have a generic for I get the generic to save money mainly on prescriptions name brand prescriptions can wipe out a bank account.
