Arizona is an native American name meaning 'A place for idiots'. No one knows for sure why it was given this name but it was told in stories passed down over the years that a tribe called 'The krems" tried to grow bananas there. They never succeeded and neighboring tribes would say "cachee ooly tabong Arizona" which translates to "Stay away from Arizona, it's full of idiots".
