This book is a collaborated effort of three other writers along with Maggie Shayne. Her colleague and friend Alyssa Day and Majorie Lui and who can forget the very popular Meljean Brook have joined her in writing her latest book.

The basic plot of this book is that there have been several rapes that have been taking place. While the cop tries to solve the case he only finds one witness. However this witness is a dog. But to his relief he also meets this doctor who can talk to dogs. Thus these two protagonists get together to find the rapist and protect the dog with all their ability so that he can identify the rapists.
