What Are The Side Effects Of Having Both Ovaries And Uterus Removed?

I had all removed at age 29 and will soon be 49. I personally have had no side affects. My sister had only her uterus removed and subsequently had to have 2 more surgeries to remove the ovaries and tubes. I was relieved to no longer have periods, cramps and constant pain. I wanted no more children so this was a good choice for me. I also opted not to go on hormone replacement therapy due to the fact that it increases the chance of breast cancer and my Mother had breast cancer.
