Yes they can help you loose weight, but they can cause you to be dehydrated, bloated, uncomfortable etc... They are to harsh really and do more harm than good. If you think your weight gain is from being backed up try eating more fiber rich foods or take a fiber supplement.

You can lose weight using laxatives BUT it is not good at all. It will make you really really sick. And it sucks to have the runs all the time. If you want to lose weight do it the healthy way.
