Dachshunds cost a fair amount of money and frequently have medical problems due to their short legs,long ears and their backs they have lots of special needs involving these areas that should be considered before purchasing a breed such as this.

I have owned 3 mini dachshunds 2male 1female there prices raged from $200.00 to $450.00 for my female.I have owned other dogs and must say this is by far my favorite breed of dog they are very lovable very easy to train great with kids.None of mine have ever had a single medical problem but they are prone to back problems in there later years.
