    How Long Before Enrtering Nursing Home Do We Need To Start Gifting Money Up To 12000.00?

    I need to know if it is too late to start gifting 12000.00 to each of my children or did I need to do this 5 years before entering a nursing home. I live in ND.

    I believe 5 years is the correct amount of time.
     
    You can google long term care or medicaid and get more info.
