Wiring An Electric Eye With The Eye 50' Away From Light Device? Can You Help?

My Electric Eye has a Black Wire, A White Wire and A Red Wire. My Supply Wire is Black White and Bare Copper Neutral, My Light Device Has Black Wire, White Wire and Green Wire. I need to place the Electric Eye at least 50' from the light device. I am not sure how to connect the Black Wire from the fixture to the Red Wire on the Electric Eye. Thank you for you answer

    Typically the black power source wire will tap to the black at the photocell, the whites taps together, and the red taps to the power conductor back to the light. One method to help keep things straight is to get some red phase tape and put an identifying band of red tape on the ends of the power conductor (switched leg) to the light.
