Software Quality Assurance can be abbreviated as SQA and it is distinct as an intended, planned and systematic method to the assessment adhesiveness and the quality of software product standards and procedures.  This process also assures that all of the standards regarding a product have been established in a very successful manner and they are being followed in later stages of development then. It involves reviewing the product and activities to verify that they comply with the applicable procedures and standards, and assuring the appropriate visibility for the results of the reviews and audits. The SQA team works with project development team during its initial stages, to device plans, procedures and project acceptance criteria that will make the project a quality project. They ensure that the defined plans, standards and SQA metrics fit the project's needs and verify that they will be usable thorough performing reviews. SQA is responsible for identifying non compliance of product from defined procedure, and later on take corrective and preventive actions to eradicate non compliance through follow up review/audit.
