The best film in my view is Rang de Basanti as it celebrates young people and their work for their beloved country............ I think every youth should take that film as as example for their own life so that their beloved country will soon become the best.

The Shawshank Redemption is one of the best films I've seen because it has a bit of everything:  drama, comedy, mystery, tragedy, and even some horror.  The storyline, although it is quite long, is brilliant, with characters that are well defined, and that make you love or hate them.  A brilliant cast with a brilliant script, and a satisfying ending.  What more could you ask for.

For me the best films of all time are Forest Gump, Fight Club, Amelie, The Matrix, Braveheart, Usual Suspects, Pulp Fiction. Such films that we like to review scores of times in search of anything important and significant for our life.

Ok im 50 ,so i have a wider selection than most. My favourites are      , the song of bernadette. Black and white retelling of the story of lourdes. If you watch it look out for vincent price. Boystown, starring mickey rooney. A great mix of funny and sad. Based on the true story of a home for wayward boys opened by a priest. Both of these are oldies, but my sons watched them with me, and while they were loathe to admit it, they enjoyed them. Modern day films i liked are, aliens and starwars , the whole selection. And the exorcist.

In my opinion the best film of all time is The Passion Of Christ because it educates us about Lord Jesus.
other good films include March of the penguins, which is about emperor penguins, the Jungle book, which is animated and about a boy who lives in the jungle, and the harry potter films.
