If your serious you will have to go through a adoption agency for legal reasons and documentation of the adoption. Not to mention the child wanting to know who their biological parents are when they grow up. And prove that you can take care of a child and provide child care for it along with acceptable housing. So i suggest you sign up with a adoption service to start the ball rolling.

 You don't own a baby, you have a baby and usually with a partner, even if you are adopting. Your approach to this issue tells me you are not ready to be a parent.
