What Is Emotion?

Emotions are things like, feeling sad, happy or in love. Emotions often play a huge role in our decision making but this can have negative consequences.  If you choose with your heat, emotions, rather than your head, than the results can be bad. For instance, if you buy a house because you think it is so cute and lovely, and turns out to have horrible plumbing and dry rot, this is acting on emotion and not using your head to get someone to check it out before buying.
