What Was The Sanction Issued By The Pakistan Government To Hubco All About?

Hubco more precisely known as the Hub Power Company Limited was recently granted a sanction by the Government of Pakistan in the form of a Letter of Support for the purpose of the establishment and setup of a new power plant that would have a net capacity of 225 Megawatts.  

According to a senior company official of Hubco, all the regular formalities had been accomplished and the findings were received by the Private Power and Infrastructure Bureau (PPIB), which were inclusive of documents like pre-feasibility documents for the establishment and setup of a new power plant that were prepared in the earlier time segment of the year.  Hubco views this opportunity (the issuance of the Letter of Support by the government) as a major step towards further development of the company.  The company official further stated that the entire cost of the power plant would amount around 230 million dollars.  In the present state of affairs, Hubco is already responsible for the operation of Pakistan's greatest independent power plant that is also termed as IPP.
