A paid executive is an employee of a bank, retail business or any other type of business. The person is among the top level group of employees and holds the title of Executive, in front of the job title. For instance, Chief Executive Officer, Executive Manager, Executive Secretary, Executive Supervisor, these employees are paid Executives. The owner is the one who pays them and pays all other employees. Executives have a boss or a board of directors to whom they are accountable.
These employees called Executives, are responsible for other employees. They hire and fire, and other employees report them, and are accountable to them for doing their jobs, appropriately. Just as the Executives are accountable to those above them, there are employees accountable to the Executives.
In most companies, where there are employees called Executives, the business has at least a three tier type of business. There are three levels of employees and sometimes more. Executives are paid much more than other employees, and sometimes have a number of other benefits not given to lower employees. These special benefits are called amenities and are privileges they receive in place of money.
Sounds great, but most Executives spend their lives working very long and hard hours, and often have little free time to enjoy the important things in life.
