The primary symptom of an abscess is of course inflammation. The external symptoms of an abscess may include redness, heat, swelling and pain in the affected zone. The abscess may come with some side symptoms as well such as fever and discomfort. In the case of a sterile abscess – the abscess which is not produced as a result of an infection – there may exist a painful lump beneath the target skin area. In case if the infection becomes acute, it may lead to cause the victim to experience fever, fatigue, weight loss and chills. A continuous occurrence of abscess may imply that there is an unidentified and undiscovered allergies or it may signify that the individual is having either a weak immune system or his immune system is gradually deteriorating.
