You risk infection or scarring by piercing parts of the skin,its just a fashion statement so if you like it then thats up to you to have it done. You can always take it out when you've grown out of that ,there is a lot of more serious problems or health risks people do to themselves ,so piercing your naval is minor.

Its not wrong you just have to be careful that you have it done by a clean sterilized reputable person and take care of it so it doesnt turn septic then you will be fine
