Consumer behavior:
Study of how people behave when obtaining, using, and disposing of products and services.
Consumer behavior involves the psychological processes that consumers go through in recognizing needs, finding ways to solve these needs, making purchase decisions (e.g., whether or not to purchase a product and, if so, which brand and where), interpret information, make plans, and implement these plans (e.g., by engaging in comparison shopping or actually purchasing a product).

The study of how consumer behave or factors affecting their buying behavior or how they response to a product. Consumer can be affected by cultural , social , psychological and personal factors.

Cultural factors is due to social status  and sub culture of the consumer
Social factor is due to the influence of family , opinion leaders  via word of mouth
Psychological factor can be due to motivation of physiology , safety , self actualization ,  social and esteem
Personal factor can be due to age , occupation , stage of lite cycle , education
