How Big Is A Gas Tank?

A gas tank is also known as a fuel tank and the size of the tank varies tremendously. A gas tank in a car has a capacity to hold a few gallons of fuel while a gas tank at an oil refinery has a capacity to hold millions of gallons of fuel. A perfect figure of a gas tank cannot be given due to its varying nature. Fuel tanks are also made of different materials such as plastic, iron, steel and other various sorts of materials which do not increase the temperature of the fuel as fuel is highly combustible. A fuel tank is based for storing purposes only and has to be kept away from an open flame as the tank might burst open and destroy the surroundings.

The entry and the removal of the fuel in and out of the tank have to be carefully done and have to be replaced by a secure by a top to avoid leakage.
