How To Clean A Digital Camera Lens?

The external part of the camera can be cleaned with the help of a soft cloth. At regular intervals, also clean the memory and battery sections with the help of a soft brush or blower. One can also apply alcohol with the help of a Q-tip to clean the metal parts.

One must clean the camera lens only when it is very essential, as some amount of dust on the lens doest make a difference to the image.

First, use a brush or blower to extract coarse dust particles. Then put o drop of lens cleaning solution on to a lens cleaning cloth or cleaning tissue, and cleans the surface of the lens in a circular motion. Do not reuse cleaning material and also do not apply too much force while cleaning, as it might damage the fragile lens coating.
