Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

As per the US Small Business Administration, a subcontract is an agreement amongst a prime contractor and a subcontractor to provide materials or services for the functioning of a prime contract or a subcontract.

While subcontracting a job, one is accountable to the client for three main factors, namely, quality of the product or service, punctuality and the cost effectiveness of production. Many subcontractors have to sign a contract or an agreement with the client to assure the above mentioned factors.
