An ISP is an Internet Service Provider. Everytime you hook up onto the Intrnet, you do so through an ISP who charges you an amount for that facility. A browser, on the other hand, is a program that helps you use the internet. Websites are accessed through browsers. Common browsers include Windows Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Net Scape Navigator.
