Do Tariffs Protect American Jobs ?

Answers
Yes they do. Tariffs are nowadays substitute for downsizing. If there is free trade all around the world and your company is inefficient, you need to cut down the cost and terminate workers. So had there been tariff instead, the jobs would have been much safer and the inefficinecy would not be so explicit.
