It is Paris, the place where F. Scott Fitzgerald visited most along with the French Riviera. When it comes to the friends that he made during his visit to Paris, there are several expatriate Americans who were living in Paris with whom he made friendship with and among them the most notable figure was of Ernest Hemingway.

Ernest Hemingway had so much admiration for him that he mentioned his name in one of his works on the preface segment. While praising one of Fitzgerald works 'The Great Gatsby', Hemingway once said that if he could create such masterpiece, he can do even better. Ernest Hemingway always looked at him for inspiration and took him in very high stead. He called him as a truly professional writer and one who had experience too and if he required any suggestion, he would consult him only.
