Enzymes for our body are same to catalysts in reactions
and we also need enzymes for speeding up reactions in our body
each enzyme has a specific substrate
for example salivary amylase

There are so many enzymes in our bodies and we need enzymes because these are the biomolecules which are used to catalyze the chemical reactions. Chemical reactions can be carried out without enzymes and these are not the part of the reaction rather enzymes enhance the rate of the reactions. Enzyme are generally made up of proteins and they speed up the reactions in the body. We need enzymes for our cell regulation. Enzymes produce the the activities in the human body for example, muscles contraction is facilitated by enzymes. Therefore, most of the processes which take place inside our body need enzymes to increase the rate of the reaction.
