I'm In Dutchess Co., NY. How Much, If There Is A Cap, Can My Landlord Legally Raise My Rent?

Question is self explanatory

Typically, they aren't allowed to raise it more than double your rent, but in what time period it's not legal, I don't know for sure. Like I do with a lot of people who ask this kind of question, I tell them to go to their landlord/tenant board in their area. Meet with them, and find out for sure what he can and can't do in this area. Hope this helps, good luck.
