Alright to get started to build you own simple yet elegant patio, it could take you minimum of two days.

Do a small test by simply laying your brick pattern, so that you will get the right measurements in the final finish time. You will require keeping a 2" extra all along the perimeter, so the brick is inserted well. Next, take away the bricks that you had kept for test. Push in crushed stone within the framed area, to a depth of 4". Now empty in 2" of sand over the background fabric. Now, opening at one ending of the rectangle, run this screed all along the sand, levelling the sand out. Now is the time when you begin to start laying the bricks as per your pattern. After you have finished laying the bricks do not forget to pour in some sand over them.
