Jin Yin Hua Cha is a tea made from the herb Jin Yin Hua. This is also known by the Latin name Flos Lonicerae, or in English Honeysuckle Flower. It is frequently used in Chinese and other herbal medicines, alone or in combination with other remedies.
It is said to have cooling properties and to be effective in the treatment of "wind heat" (I'm not sure what that is) as well as some forms of dysentery. It is also used in skin complaints such as boils, and painful conditions like sore throats. In addition, it can be used to clean and soothe wounds.
